Live Connect Guidelines

At AyiConnect, our goal is to create a Platform for connectivity, where we provide all the necessary tools for both sides to find and vet each other faster and more efficiently. Using our Live Connect, you will be able to interact in real-time with families or helpers who are in the search of caregiving services or jobs.

Having this in mind, we would like you to please help us make this a safe and positive Platform so everyone can enjoy it by following these guidelines.

By accessing our Platform including our apps and site, and using the Services as offered on this Platform, You become the User and become bound by, the Terms and Conditions of the platform including this agreement and other AyiConnect policies for as long as You continue to use/visit the Platform or Services.

Eligibility

Minimum age: our users must be at least 18 years old. By using our Services on the Platform, the User represents and warrants that they are a minimum of 18 years old. It is possible that certain Services may have other age requirements and such other age requirements are stated at the relevant places.

Criteria

To attend our Live Connect Service, the User is asked to complete their profile, job preferences, or requirements. The User is expected to complete the information before joining Live Connect. This will help AyiConnect to recommend jobs or helpers based on the information submitted. There are free trials, but purchasing a membership or tickets outside of the free trials may be required.

Geographic Limitations

The Platform and the Services are currently intended for Users within the United States.  The Services and the Platform at some time may be made open to other geographical locations as well and the same will be made known to the Users through email communication, public announcement, blogs, in-app notifications, or other forms of communication.

Local geographic limitations within the United States will depend on the willingness of nannies to relocate, and availability to travel (as some families use to travel and take their nannies with them).

Info Submitted

The User is solely responsible for and assumes all liability regarding, (i) the information and content provided at the Platform for our Services; (ii) the information and content the User posts, transmits, publishes, shares, or otherwise makes available to AyiConnect for the Services; (iii) User interactions with other Registered Users through our Services; and (iv) the information provided in the Personality Assessment. The Platform may make job or helper recommendations based on User Info Submitted such as profile, job preferences, and requirements.

Risk Assumption and Precautions

All risks when using the Services and the Platform, including but not limited to all of the risks associated with any online or offline interactions with others, including hiring and working for others remain with the User.

No Guarantees

The Platform and its specific systems attempt to provide recommended matches on a best-effort basis through the Services including Live Connect; however, every User may not find ideal jobs or help through the Services. The User fully understands and accepts that AyiConnect makes no guarantees, either express or implied, direct or indirect, regarding the User’s ultimate decision on receiving jobs or hiring.

Safety, Background Check, ID Verification and Reviews

AyiConnect reserves the right but is not obligated to perform background checks or ID verifications. AyiConnect runs a profile risk assessment and removes those high-risk accounts. Validating authenticity moderation is also being utilized. Unauthentic or inappropriate profiles or selfies may be flagged and removed from the Platform.

Additional tools are provided for our Users to verify others’ authenticity, such as background checks or ID verification. Reviews and requests for reviews are made available for Users to verify references.

The Users consent to the Terms and Conditions while using the tools, to authorize the release of information for checks and verification.

Reports and Content Moderation

The Users have the responsibility of reporting to the Platform any violation of the Terms and Conditions by others. AyiConnect reserves the right to remove any posts that do not conform to our guidelines, and will make the best effort, but has no obligation to monitor the information or material the User submits to the Platform.

Posting and Communication Restrictions

AyiConnect doesn’t allow the following types of posts or communication between our Users on any of our Platform and reserves the right to remove them:

  • Promotes any kind of discriminatory material, racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm against any group or individual.
  • Intended to or tends to harass, annoy, threaten, or intimidate any other users.
  • Defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, obscene, pornographic or profane, offensive, sexually-oriented, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Intended to defraud, swindle or deceive other users.

No advertising or promotion

The Users agree not to advertise or solicit any user to buy or sell any products or services through the Platform unless they are the Platform partners. The Users are strictly prohibited from transmitting any chain letters, or junk or spam emails to other Users. AyiConnect strongly recommends that Users communicate inside the Platform for safety and privacy purposes, unless the Users feel comfortable connecting outside.

Cancelation

The Users understand and agree that no refunds will be issued if they cancel their participation in the LiveConnect event within one (1) hour of the start time or after the event starts. To be eligible for a refund, the Users will need to cancel the event at least one (1) hour before the start time. The User will receive a credit or a direct refund, which will be applicable to use at other events.
